Disable the moto tag

You would disable your moto tag if you find one that is tracking you without your knowledge or consent, or if you are concerned about unwanted tracking.

 

Disabling it prevents the moto tag from sharing its location.

 

Warning: Disabling is permanent. Once the moto tag is disabled it can no longer be used.

1. Locate the M button in front of the tag.
   
    
2. Press the button in succession 3 times and then hold it for 20 seconds until you hear a beep.
    
3. Release the button as soon as you hear the beep.
    
4. You'll hear another beep once you release the button, confirming disablement.
